Common questions
Is the TracefyHR app free?
Yes. The app is free on Google Play. Employees sign in with the account their employer created on the TracefyHR platform — there is nothing to buy inside the app.
Does attendance work without an internet connection?
Yes. Check-ins and check-outs are saved on the device when there is no signal and sync automatically once the phone is back online. No punch is ever lost.
Does the app track employee location in the background?
No. Location is captured only at the moment of a check-in or check-out, to record where the shift started and ended. Employees can also punch without sharing location at all.
Is there an iPhone version?
The Android app is available today on Google Play. iOS is on the roadmap — employees on iPhone can use the mobile-friendly web portal in the meantime.
