Viewing your payslip
Where your payslips live, how to read them, and how to download them.
After your HR finalises payroll for the month, your payslip becomes available in your portal. You can view it on screen, download a PDF, and check the breakdown of what made up your pay.
Where to find your payslips
Click your name / avatar in the top right, then choose My Info. Or go to My Info in the sidebar.
Open the Payroll tab. You'll see a list of months, newest first.
Click any month to see the full breakdown.
What's on the payslip
Every payslip has the same structure:
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Earnings | Base salary, bonuses, any custom additions (overtime, commissions, etc.) |
| Deductions | Tax (called whatever your company uses — VAT, Income Tax, etc.), salary advances, anything else deducted |
| Net Pay | What hits your account |
| Notes | Any context your HR added |
If your company uses Forge AI custom features (like overtime claims or reimbursements) and yours got approved that month, those amounts appear under Earnings automatically.
Click the ? icons next to each line item to see exactly how it was calculated. Every number on a TracefyHR payslip is traceable — no mystery deductions.
Download a PDF
In the month detail view, click Download PDF in the top right. The file is named payslip-{your-name}-{month}-{year}.pdf and includes your company logo, your details, and the full breakdown.
Spot a mistake?
Don't panic — and don't change anything yourself. Tell your HR directly. They can:
- Edit your line items if the month isn't finalised yet
- Issue a correction adjustment the following month if it's already locked
The original payslip stays on file (TracefyHR doesn't quietly rewrite history) — the correction shows clearly as its own line.
Common questions
Why can't I see this month's payslip? Your HR hasn't finalised payroll yet. Check back after they do — you'll get a notification.
Can I see other people's payslips? No. Only HR and Managers (with permission) see the full payroll.
Where do I update my bank details for direct deposit? TracefyHR doesn't process payments — your company pays via their own bank. Ask your HR how to update your bank details with them.
Can I export all my payslips at once? Not yet. Download one month at a time. (HR can export the full company year — see Running monthly payroll.)
